Following the rollercoaster ride at cPanel, the developers behind the DirectAdmin control panel have announced to also make changes to their pricing structure, albeit this time in a refreshingly fair and transparent fashion.
This change does mean that from September 1 2019 we will no longer offer lifetime DirectAdmin licenses with your VPS or Dedicated Server. Subscription based licensing remains available as usual.
We would like to assure users that currently have a lifetime DirectAdmin licenses with us, that their license will remain active as promised. There will be no changes or additional charges on your periodic bill.
We would also like to announce that we have just started a final promotion for our VPS and dedicated servers that includes a FREE lifetime Directadmin license. This promotion remains available until the end of august 2019.
If you purchase a VPS, Hybrid VPS, Cloud Reseller VPS or Dedicated Server from us before the 1st of september you will receive a DirectAdmin license at no additional charge! This license will remain valid for the full duration of your service with us.
Retail Licenses
DirectAdmin is making a further change to their retail lifetime licenses. These licenses included lifetime updates. This has now been changed to an Owned license, still at the same price point of $299,- but it now no longer includes lifetime updates. Updates and support can be purchased for $99,- a year.
