When using your web hosting package with Woktron Web Hosting you have the ability to create unlimited email addresses.

If your domain is "your-domain.com" you could have many different email accounts such as store@your-domain.com, sales@your-domain.com, and many more. Anytime you want to create a new email address you can do so in DirectAdmin.

This article is provided to help configure third party e-mail client software to work with Woktron Web Hosting solutions.

The instructions listed below are intended to assist with the general setup of various email clients such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Eudora Mail, iOS Mail and more.

However, these settings cannot be guaranteed to work with every email client.

When examining the example below, be sure to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

    Your User Name: your username as configured in the DirectAdmin control panel
    E-mail address: enter your full e-mail address (name@yourdomain.com)

    Password: Your email password
    Password Authentication Method: Normal Password. Do NOT use SPA (secure password authentication)


    Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com or mail.hostname.com
    Type of connection: POP3 or IMAP (what is the difference?)

    Incoming mail port (POP): 110
    Encrypted Incoming mail port (POP): 995. Select SSL/TLS for encryption method

    Incoming mail port (IMAP): 143
    Encrypted Incoming mail port (IMAP): 993. Select SSL/TLS for encryption method


    Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com or mail.hostname.com
    Type of connection: SMTP

    Outgoing mail port (SMTP): 25
    Encrypted Outgoing mail port (SMTP): 587. Select STARTTLS for encryption method
