When using your web hosting package with Woktron Web Hosting you have the ability to create unlimited email addresses.
If your domain is "your-domain.com" you could have many different email accounts such as
email@example.com, and many more. Anytime you want to create a new email address you can do so in DirectAdmin.
This article is provided to help configure third party e-mail software to work with Woktron Web Hosting solutions.
The instructions listed below are for the general setup of various email clients and cannot be guaranteed to work with every email client.
The following configuration settings are appropriate for third party email clients such as Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, iPad, etc.
When using the example below, be sure to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
Your User Name: anything you want E-mail address: enter the full address (firstname.lastname@example.org) Type of connection: POP3 or IMAP (what is the difference?) Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com Incoming mail port: 110 for POP3, 143 for IMAP Outgoing mail port: 25 (If 25 does not work, try 26, as some ISPs block port 25) Encrypted Outgoing mail port: 587. Select STARTTLS for encryption method. Username/Account name: must be the full email address (email@example.com). Password: the email password. Do NOT use SPA (secure password authentication).
